Six Flags America | Price: $55 Free
Location: 13710 Central Ave, Bowie, MD 20721

We decided to have a party where we could include everyone & incorporate one of our favorite things... theme parks! So, we've negotiated a discounted rate of $55 per person (adults or children) to join us at Six Flags and everyone is invited (so invite your friends/family!). And please, don't feel obligated to bring a gift.

The bride, groom & wedding party will be in their full wedding attire so we encourage you to wear the nicest clothing you're willing to wear to a theme park, as well! (There will be a pro photographer taking photos!)

Tickets are $55. In order to have access to the pavillion/lunch, you must purchase from us (and have your ticket) prior to your arrival at Six Flags (no tickets will be available for will call).
Come in your wedding attire for wedding party photos, food, and coasters! We've covered the cost so all you have to do is show up for us for a few more hours! Formal photos for the party will be from 12-1 and then you're free to eat, ride rides, join us for candid photos all over the park or just head home. Unfortunately, we can't pay for your guests, but if they'd like to join us they can do so here.

    Tickets for Six Flags include:
    • A buffet BBQ lunch (usually $15.25 + tax for a combo meal)
    • Access to the Pavillion from 12-2pm
    • Parking (normally $20)
    • Park admission for the full day (normally $65.99 + tax)
    • Your tickets shipped to you (must be purchased by April 16 to be mailed)
  • Purchase Six Flags Tickets!

Six Flags FAQs

View the answers to Six Flags related questions below. For all other FAQs, click here.

How early can I show up at Six Flags?

Six Flags is opened from 10:30-6:00PM on April 23. Tickets give you full admission to the park all day. Access to the pavilion is from 12:00-2:00PM, with lunch from 12:30-1:30PM.

Will there be a ceremony at Six Flags?

Nope! Just a big party, food, photos and rides! You will get to see the bride, groom & wedding party all dressed up, though. (Yes, the bride will be in her wedding dress!)

How much is admission? Is there a different price for children?

The price for everyone is a flat $55 including taxes, fees, lunch, etc. Children 2 & under are free.

We wish we could have got it a bit cheaper, but adult admission is usually $65.99 + tax and children under 48" are usually $45.99 + tax. Parking is usually $20. Combo meals including one entree, side & drink are usually $15.25 + tax. The $55 rate includes all of those items (plus a buffet lunch with 3 entrees & 2 sides) and is inclusive of tax.

What's for lunch? What else is included?

Your ticket includes full day admission, parking and lunch. Lunch will be buffet style. Entrees: Cheese burgers, grilled chicken breast sandwiches, vegetarian lasagna. Sides: Green beans, salad & fiesta rice. Dessert: Ice cream. Additional: Chips, fixins, condiments and non-alcoholic beverages.

How do I get to Six Flags?

Six Flags is about 30 minutes East of DC in Bowie, MD. It's easily accessible from I-95/495, Route 50 or Route 301.

Unfortunately, there's no great public transportation and we couldn't work out a cost effective transportation deal. Parking is included in your ticket, so we recommend driving/carpooling with others, email us if you'd like us to help you coordinate a carpool. There are rental car locations throughout the city, we recommend Enterprise for the best service. Alternatively, an UberX can hold up to 4 people and the fare from downtown Baltimore will be between $55 to $75 ($13.75-$18.75 per person) from Downtown Baltimore each way. An UberXL can hold up to 6 people and the fare from downtown Baltimore will be between $90-$120 ($15-$20 per person) each way.

How far is Six Flags from downtown Baltimore/BWI airport?

Six Flags America is 35 miles from Downtown Baltimore (approx. 55 mins). Six Flags America is 28 miles from BWI Airport (approx. 45 mins).

How do I pay for tickets? Can we pay for the tickets in person?

You purchase your tickets directly through us via PayPal. Do not purchase your tickets through the Six Flags website. Sure, you can pay in person--just give cash to one of us whenever you see us next. Regardless of how they're paid for, all tickets must be purchased in advance.

I don't like roller coasters, should I still come? Is the water park going to be opened?

Well, we'd love you to, so you can take awesome photos with us! If that's not incentive, it's still a fully functional theme park so there are family rides, thrill rides, roller coasters & shows to watch. Check out all the attractions. Unfortunately, the water park will be closed in April--still too cold!

Can I bring my friends/family?

Of course! The more, the merrier!

If I come, do I have to bring a wedding gift?

Not at all! We know the admission price isn't necessarily cheap, so honestly, the greatest gift we could ask for is for you to join us for the festivities!

When do I actually get my tickets?

They'll be mailed to you starting in March or we may be able to give them to you in person around that time.
